Swimming
In order to swim, you only have to cross the promenade and you’re right by the beach. (The Ocean water-public pool is 250 m away)
Beach chairs
A beach chair is part of the basic equipment of the balcony/terrace of our apartments. The beach chairs by the beach are only 30m away! You can order you personal beach chair at the hirer under Tel. 0172-4210307 ahead.
Beach volleyball
In the season, you an find many beach volleyball fields about 200m away. This is where the tournaments take place.
Wind- and Kite-surfing
Classic surfboards and kite-equipment can be rented in the neighbourhood.
Diving
One of our neighbours is currently building a diving school. We would love to help you out!
Port
The new port Kühlungsborn-East is across the Strandresidenz and has always something to look at. Up to 400 boats are put in – motorboats, sailing boats, and yachts up to 18m long.
If you arrive on a boat yourself: You can use one of our friend’s berths (Just send us a quick Email).
Culinary-tip: At our port, you can find the tastiest and freshest fish – right from the boat! Depending on the time of year, the offers range from cod, herring, flounders and many more. Either precooked or in one piece. The fishing boats have their boats within sight of our villa.
Motorboat rental
Motorboats (licence-free or not) may be rented from our neighbour Detlef Neugebauer. Please bring your licence ‘Motorboot-See’ if necessary and your ID or passport – both as originals! It only take 30 meter to reach the boat bridge. More information: www.bootsverleih-ostsee.de
Water ski
Waterski-lovers have the best chances of enjoying the sport at calm weather. Right by the port are two stations where equipment can be rented and you can be adviced by professionals.
Speedboat with a chauffeur
You love speed? How about a fast ride across the waves? A special excursion , with a chauffeur and comfort. We would love to help you! For example a rubber dinghy, as the GSG 9 drives, an elegant Frauscher or a Lido 686-yacht (up to 123 km/h)
Sailing voyage & Charter
You can rent out private sailing boats by the port. Name your preferences and we would love to give you the appropriate addresses.
If you are an advanced sailor and would like to enjoy a private ride, you can rent out sailing boats! Jan Grunwald, for example, offers a catamaran with four double cabins or for 12 day-tour guest (www.viamar.de). But there are more offers in Kühlungsborn and around that offer sailing boats at different sizes. Share your wishes with us and we would love to give you the appropriate addresses.
Mini-Cruise
Starting at the landing bridge in Kühlungsborn-East, multiple options are open for you to enjoy a round-trip on the Baltic Sea, e.g. to Warnemünde or Grömitz. Your offers are optional as day trips with tea dance as well! Our housekeepers would love to inform you!
